A recurring booking means the same cleaner comes to your home at a fixed interval — typically every week or every fortnight. Upcoming visits are created automatically, so you never have to remember to book.
The benefit goes beyond convenience: your cleaner gets to know your home, learns how you like things done, and works far more efficiently from one visit to the next. That's where really good cleaning happens.
And no — there's no commitment. You can cancel a single visit or stop the whole arrangement whenever you like, and you can propose a new day, time or number of hours on the booking yourself.
One-off cleaning: flexibility when you need it
A single cleaning session is ideal for moving out, a deep cleaning before a party, spring cleaning, or just a helping hand during a busy period.
You book in exactly the same way — choose a cleaner, date and duration — and pay only once the cleaning is done. Many start with a single visit and make it a recurring booking once they've found the right cleaner.
What do most people choose?
65% of all cleanings at Hilfr belong to a recurring arrangement, and every other week is by far the most chosen rhythm — 41% of all visits sit there. With the servicefradrag (the Danish tax deduction for household services) subtracted, it's a smaller expense than many families expected.
Our advice: choose from the start the rhythm you actually want. That sounds like the opposite of cautious, but it is not — there is no commitment, so you can cancel a single visit or stop the arrangement the same day you change your mind. And our own figures are clear: of the customers whose first cleaning was on an every-other-week arrangement, 83% booked at least once more. Among those who started with a single visit, it was 55%.
If the chemistry is not right, you switch cleaner — that costs nothing either. It is a cheaper change of mind than having to take the decision about a recurring arrangement all over again, every time.
