What is Hilfr?
Hilfr is a Danish platform where private households book cleaning directly with a cleaner employed under a collective agreement with the trade union 3F. In 2018 Hilfr signed Denmark's first platform collective agreement, and since 1 September 2024 every cleaner on the platform is covered by the full agreement. Cleaning costs from approx. 387 DKK per hour including VAT, and 58% of that goes to the cleaner as salary, pension and holiday pay.

What does cleaning at Hilfr cost?
Cleaning costs from approx. 387 DKK per hour including VAT and all costs. The cleaner sets their own hourly wage; the collective agreement with 3F puts a floor under it at 180.00 DKK per hour. On top of the wage come the costs of employing someone, plus VAT.

Recurring cleaning at Hilfr
A recurring arrangement at Hilfr has no commitment and no subscription — it can be stopped at any time with one button ("cancel all future visits"), and stopping costs nothing. Most recurring customers choose cleaning every other week. The price per visit is the same as for a single cleaning (from approx. 387 DKK per hour incl. VAT), and the wage share is tax-deductible in Denmark — an ordinary recurring arrangement of three hours every other week already reaches the deduction cap for one adult.

The collective agreement with 3F
In 2018 Hilfr signed the first collective agreement between a digital platform and a trade union in Denmark. The agreement was made with 3F and has since been extended: from 1 September 2024 every cleaner on the platform is covered by the full agreement, with a guaranteed minimum wage, pension, holiday pay, sickness benefit and proper terms of employment.

Changes to figures and terms
When a price, a rate or a term changes, it is recorded here with a date — so you can see when a figure was last confirmed.
Fact review of every content page. Time off sick is now described as sickness benefit (§ 7 of the collective agreement) rather than full pay. The hours guidance was measured against 36,349 completed cleanings and had been an hour too high above 80 m². And the four measured figures — cleanings completed, cleaners, customer rating and Trustpilot — now appear on this page.
Recurring-cleaning section added: no commitment, every-other-week as the most popular rhythm, price per visit and the service-deduction point.
