Where does the money go?

58% of your payment goes to the cleaner as salary, pension and holiday pay. The rest covers VAT to the state plus platform, insurance and operations. With an hourly wage of 200 DKK/hour, one hour is split like this — approx. 429 DKK in total:

58 %goes directly to your cleaner as salary, pension and holiday pay

  • To your cleaner · 58%Salary, pension and holiday pay249 DKK/hour
  • Platform, insurance & operations · 22%Operations, customer service, insurance with IF, payment fees and sickness/parental-leave contributions94 DKK/hour
  • VAT to the state · 20%25% of the total amount before VAT86 DKK/hour

A total of approx. 429 DKK per hour in the example — the exact price for your booking is always shown before you confirm.

…and with the servicefradrag tax deduction it gets cheaper

The wage share (200 DKK/hour in the example) qualifies for the Danish servicefradrag tax deduction, worth approx. 26% on your annual tax return. That gives you approx. 66 DKK back per hour — so the real price ends up at approx. 363 DKK per hour. The deduction thereby covers around 77% of the VAT.

429 DKK − 66 DKK in tax deduction ≈ 363 DKK per hour effectively

What is the hourly price made up of?

The hourly price has six parts: the cleaner's wage, 12.15% pension, 12.5% holiday pay, a sickness and parental-leave contribution of 5 DKK per hour, 35% for platform and insurance, and finally 25% VAT. The price reflects that the person cleaning your home is properly employed — not a freelancer or undeclared labour.
